This time we will be informing you about "Please help prevent elder abuse."

As the population ages rapidly, elder abuse has become a serious problem.
The causes are varied, including anxiety and fatigue about caregiving, interpersonal relationships between the elderly and caregivers, a lack of awareness of the psychology and illnesses (dementia) of the elderly, and financial problems.
Caregivers should not bear the worries and burden alone, but should consult with their city or local Welfare Consultation Center.
Please also contact us if you suspect abuse is occurring in your area.

急速に進む高齢化の中で、高齢者虐待が深刻な問題となっています。原因は、介護への不安や疲れ、高齢者と介護者の人間関係、高齢者の心理や病気（認知症）などへの認識不足、経済的問題など、さまざまです。
介護する人は、悩みや負担を一人で抱え込まないで、市や地域の福祉相談センターへ相談してください。また身近に虐待があると思われる場合も連絡してください。
