Beware of scams targeting the elderly! 高齢者を狙った詐欺にご注意!

This is Informatin of Energetic Life.
In this article, we will be sharing information about "Beware of scams targeting the elderly!"
In recent years, there have been many cases of specialized scams, such as bank transfer scams, targeting the elderly.
Elderly people with dementia have a reduced ability to make decisions, so they are often unable to judge whether something is right or wrong, making them more likely to fall victim to fraud.
If you suspect you might be being scammed, please consult a consumer affairs consultation center.

○ Tips to avoid becoming a victim
- Check on the situation frequently to notice early
- Answering machines are an effective way to deal with telephone solicitations
- Do not leave your loved one alone at home, and turn off the intercom when you are alone
- Apply for the use of the adult guardianship system
